Crochet Class. 2, 3-class crocheting sessions. Tuesdays. First session October 13 through October 27. Second session: November 3 through November 17. $8 for materials, $45 for the 3 classes. Total: $53 per person for each session. In this beginner class. In the first class series, participants will learn the basics of amigurumi while creating their own bee keychain/charm. You’ll learn helpful crochet and designer tricks, including color changes, invisible decreases, attaching pieces while crocheting and more. Your project will look professional and you’ll be working rounds versus working in rows. By the end of class, you will have a handmade bee to take home along with many new crochet skills you’ve learned. Students must register beforehand, online or at the PGICA office: 2001 Shreve Street, Punta Gorda, 941-637-1655. All PGICA classes are open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome.
